For 20 years Innofreight has been developing wagons, containers and unloading systems together with customers for the efficient and solution-oriented optimisation of rail freight transport. Now a steadily growing partnership with the leading Czech wood purchasing company Wood & Paper has been put on track.
In recent years, Wood & Paper has seen an increase in demand for improved rail logistics solutions for logs, wood chips and biomass.
Now the long-standing cooperation between Innofreight and Wood & Paper will be strengthened in the long term in an even closer collaboration. With the founding of inno4wood GmbH, the knowledge of two established companies can be expanded and combined into an innovative forwarding rail transport company in the field of wood and woody biomass.
It is essential to keep coming up with new concepts to use the transport network in Europe more sustainably, to promote digitalisation and to reduce CO2 emissions. inno4wood is to be an example of how it can be done.
The focus is on forwarding services, optimisation and further development of modern logistics solutions and the sustainable expansion of rail transport using state-of-the-art technology.
